Do you keep my account's password?

I'm very concerned about the privacy of my email records? Can anyone steal my account's password from you?

No, nobody can steel your account's password from us: we don't keep it.

When you sign up for eEvidence, whether this is for a freemium account or premium, we will ask you to set up a password for your account. Once you have completed your registration, there are cases in which you will be asked to provide it: for instance, when forwarding your emails through us —given you have configured us as your email account's outgoing server—, as well as for accessing your account's user private area. Still, we will not store your password on our systems. Instead, what we store is its hash representation.

Every time you identify yourself, we will automatically obtain a hash from the password you are providing and will compare it with the one we originally stored: if both match, then it has to be you who's knocking.

Trust us on this. If someone ever breaks into our system, looking for our users passwords, they will be very disappointed.
