What do you exactly register?

Some of the so-called 'registered email services' don't do what you would expect. Others claim they can prove the email was opened. Anyway, can you explain to me what your service does really accredit?

For the emails you send through eEvidence:

  • the sender's and the recipient's email addresses, as informed by the sender's mail server during the email's SMTP transmission;
  • the IP address from which the email comes from;
  • the contents of the email, including header, message body and attachments; and
  • the email delivery acceptance by the recipient's legitimate mail server.

For the emails you receive through us:

  • the sender's and the recipient's email addresses, as informed by the sender's mail server during the email's SMTP transmission;
  • the mail server's hostname and IP address from which the email comes from;
  • the contents of the email, including header, message body and attachments; and
  • the delivery of the email to your mail server.

For the emails you send to register@tools.eevid.com, without other recipients, as a way for registering your important files:

  • the sender's address, as informed by the sender's mail server during the email's SMTP transmission;
  • the IP address from which the email comes from; and
  • the contents of the email, including header, message body and attachments.

No more, no less.
